Speed of sight is a non-profit driving charity for people of all abilities. The CAN DO attitude this charity has enables people to experience driving like never before. With professional instructors and dual controlled cars, their aim is to make the driving dreams of the disabled a REALITY!!
The fully automatic cars complete with full safety modifications, Dual Steering, Dual Brakes, Dual Accelerators (with limit switches) allow all disabilities to enjoy the thrill of track driving with full safety in mind. Our professional instructors are with you every step of the way, creating the thrills but without the spills.
If the excitement gets too much for an individual, we allow supervisors to take their place. We challenge all people to drive our cars. We turn up the difficulty and excitement with blind folds for the fully sighted. This is where our instructors communication skills and an individuals nerves are tested to the max.
Our volunteer support staff and marshals help make the day special for everyone involved in our events. This includes keeping people updated with timings, establishing any special needs of a client, organising refreshments, as well as informing clients of procedures and safety briefings. Our marshals and support staff are dedicated to making your event a safe but memorable one.
